american idiot

the result of the recent US presidential election has shown that more than half of the amercan citizens are either idiot or dumb, if not both. the bush's victory has confirmed that the united states is one of the stupidest nation in the world. despite the Iraq war, despite the economic slump, despite the oursorcing problems, despite the recent bin laden's video clip addressing to US voters [see the transcript here], despite everything else, they still voted for bush.

i indeed am disappointed. we are totally disappointed.

we thought the amercan could have been more capable of making the right choice.

but i suppose almost half of the americans are disappointed too. everyone i talked to in the US said they'd voted for Kerry and they hoped Kerry would win though one of them admitted that Kerry himself wasn't a very strong candidate. a lot of people say the americans voted for Bush out of fear.

fear of what?! the more votes for Bush, the more you should fear.

"Your security is not in the hands of Kerry or Bush or al Qaeda. Your security is in your own hands and each state which does not attack us, will not be attacked either."
-Bin Laden

Don't want to be an American idiot.
One nation controlled by the media.
Information age of hysteria.
It's going out to idiot America.

Welcome to a new kind of tension.
All across the idiot nation.
Everything isn't meant to be okay.
Television dreams of tomorrow.
We're not the ones who're meant to follow.
For that's enough to argue.

those who vote bush:
- are predominantly religious, not that it is bad thing but lean towards the evangelist type weirdos.
- stay in the suburbs. = no access to mroe liberal media and global opinion
- have families and want stability
- are afraid of terrorists and think that 'bomb them all before they bomb us' is a good foreign policy (better safe than sorry yunno - i thought sporeans were kiasi..)

the pattern seems that those who endorse kerry are:
-young idealistic and progressive
- do not really crave stability (after all we havent spent hundreds of thousands on a house, car, career, children, wooing the wife..) we dont have anything to protect
- people with higher education generally prefer kerry

is this elitist? or idealistic?
how much do you know about kerry? how much do I know? or the working class of USA? they dont. how can one trust a figure one knows barely anything about?

its easy for bush to play the fear card. "septermber 11" "terrorists" "economy" "osama" "saddam" "bledy muslims" "homos" and all those evangelist rednecks quiver in their pants.
i blame FOX. i blame the economy. the system. the fact that they have to vote him to feel safe (after all dont you want your family to be safe?)
it is not the people who are dumb. okay. they are kinda stupid. but they have been manipulated. deceived. indoctrinated.

screw bush. he's harmless. the evil ones are cheney, powell, rumsfeld, rove and all those pulling his strings.

regards
why do we never talk about this?

"When a child is born, it comes out of a warm uterus, 37 degrees centigrade, into about 18 or 20 degrees centigrade. That's bad enough. The shock of birth, bad enough. But it could survive that if the following didn't happen. As it comes out, it is picked up by the legs and slapped on the buttocks. The first greeting is a slap. The next greeting: Take it away from the mother. Right? Taken away from the mother. I want you to listen here. It will sound incredible in a hundred years. Take it away from the mother. The mother must not touch or see the baby. The baby has no contact after having nine months of body contact of very high temperature - what we call the "orgonotic body energy contact", the field action between them, the warmth and the heat.

`Then, the Jews introduced something about six or seven thousand years old. And that is circumcision. I don't know why they introduced it. It's still a riddle. Take that poor penis. Take a knife - right? And start cutting. And everybody says, 'It doesn't hurt.' Get it? That's an excuse, of course, a subterfuge. They say that the sheath of the nerve is not yet developed. Therefore the child doesn't feel a thing. Now that's murder! Circumcision is one of the worst treatments of children. And what happens to them? You just look at them. They can't talk to you. They just cry. What they do is shrink. They contract, get away into the inside, away from the ugly world. I express it very crudely, but you understand what I mean, Doctor. Now, that's the greeting: Taking it away from the mother. Mother mustn't see it. Twenty-four or forty-eight hours, eat nothing. Right? Penis cut. And then comes the worst: This poor child, poor infant, tries always to stretch out and to find some warmth, something to hold on to. It goes to the mother, puts its lips on the mother's nipple. And what happens? The nipple is cold, or it doesn't erect, or the milk doesn't come, or the milk is bad. And that is quite general. That is not one case in a thousand. That is general. That's average.

So what does that infant do? How does it respond to that? How does it have to respond to that bio-energetically? It can't come to you and tell you, 'Oh, listen, I'm suffering so much, so much, so much.' It just cries. And, finally, it gives up and says, 'No'. It doesn't say 'no' in words, you understand, but that is the emotional situation. And we orgonomists know it. We get it out of our patients. We get it out of our emotional structure, out of their behavior, not out of their words. Words can't express it. Here, in the very beginning, the spite develops. Here the 'no' develops, the big 'NO' of humanity. And then you ask why the world is a mess."
