Ah. Interesting but Bush's war is based on love, love for ones own country and people.
What say you?

Bush's war is based on love for himself - personal interest.
"On September the 11th, 2001, America learned that oceans will no longer protect us from the threats of a new era. On that day, the President set in motion a relentless worldwide campaign against terrorists, in order to secure our homeland and to make the world a more peaceful place"- from bush's campaign statement on national securityif bush could assume that oceans would protect america (of course, not literally), he was at falut to begin with.

"make the world a more peaceful place"?

bullshit.

how can preemptive war be used as a tool to preempt war where it is war in itself?

preemptive war to bring peace to the world?
"As the world's most powerful nation, President Bush believes that the United States has a special responsibility to help make the world more secure"i wanna puke.

I see you think that war is not justified.
Now change the situation. Would you support your Thailand, assuming it has the means, to launch a pre emp strike against any potential enemies. Think about your family and homeland.
If the war was justified, would you support Bush?

well, i wouldn't support war by any country, be it USA or thailand. and i believe we, thailand, won't do that as we're a peace lover. you can see from our history.

when there's war, people die.

if it's not my family, it'll be someone else family which is equally sad.

hold peace. be contented with what the world is. don't make it any worse. wars never do good for anyone.

please recall the recent tragedy in southern thailand. 'peace loving' is not a label to stick onto any geographical location. the remaining 49% of America is peace loving yet such an image is projected onto the world.
it is easy to change sides when your standards can be modified as and when you like.
(think john kerry)
but does the end justify the means?
would you advocate war if it is necessary to save your nation and your self?
you appear to be nationalistic.
same goes for the americans. play the country card.
fuck la im not making sense. where do your political inclinations come from in light of your lack of exposure to current affairs? ;P
